The whole crew... read more was extremely attentive throughout the whole day. To my surprise, my fiancé planned out our proposal and all of the logistics with Stacy prior to our arrival. After I said “yes”, we jumped into the crystal blue water and swam over to a secluded beach area to enjoy some alone time while reality set in. The whole crew really made us feel special and ensured we enjoyed our experience from start to finish. Everything went off without a hitch. It was easily one of the best days ever! We highly recommend them for anyone visiting, Antigua will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

We visited a deserted beach, swam and snorkeled around some rocks where we saw all manner of fish, coral, crab and urchins. We sailed for hours enjoying the serenity, great views of the coastline and the turquoise sea. And we ate well, with a tasty salsa dip and a delicious chicken wrap prepared by Kahree's mum! We couldn't miss out on Stacey's famous rum punch which was a great way to round out the day!

Went out with George on Gadaboat yesterday with another couple of friends and had the most fabulous time. His wife Stacey supplied us with the most delicious food and spectacular rum punch .. the punch included fresh Passion fruit juice and freshly grated nutmeg which lifted it into a different league to anything I’ve had before anywhere ! The salsa dip which was provided as an afternoon snack was to die for. combined with carefully selected chips - it was an absolutely perfect snack. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with George and his mate Khaari who kept us well supplied with a good selection of drinks including wine, Prosecco and of course the amazing rum punch and fully entertained throughout. The whole vibe was totally relaxed and chilled under sail so no engines for 95% of our trip. This will certainly be a trip we will repeat next time we are in Antigua and look forward to seeing George again.

We had our October trip to Antigua booked back in Jan 21 and I had always wanted to charter a boat for sailing. We had enquired with a number of... read more companies a few months prior to arriving, however responses were sketchy due to Covid; that was with the exception of Gadaboat. Stacey replied almost immediately to our enquiries and sent us lots of information and photos, we were booked in ready for the impending trip! We were always kept up to date up to the day of the sail and we knew we were in professional safe hands. On the day of the trip we were picked up at our hotel and taken to the yacht where George and Travis made us feel instantly at home. We started with bubbles, followed by the amazing rum punch. During the sail the company was great, scenery idyllic, food and drink plentiful, we even had our favourite playlists as a musical backdrop. We enjoyed it so much, we booked again for the following week of our holiday! Second time around we were joined by Stacey and Blondie, we were made to feel so welcome that it was like enjoying an afternoon with friends. We cannot recommend Gadaboat enough to do them justice. My boyfriend and I traveled to Antigua for a relaxing getaway. Little did I know that my boyfriend, now fiancé, had planned a surprise boat proposal. He communicated with Stacey... read more via whatsapp, and together they set up a key words on when to move to the front of the boat to the "love seats" and ask the big question. Stacey has experience with proposals, weddings, and celebrations and made the process seamless.
Stacey recommended Travis (Austin Pixel) for photos. The pictures that Travis took were phenomenal. I am elated. He told us how to pose and where to stand to reduce shadow/wind.
Stacey and her partner George are wonderful. George picked us up from the hotel and asked if we were married (even though he was in on the proposal bit). Upon arrival onto the boat, Stacey made us her famous rum punch and it was delicious. She even provided us with champagne after the proposal. They also provided us with appetizers - chicken wings/meatballs, carrot/celery with hummus, shrimp, dips. In addition, they were able to make most of the apps gluten free for my fiancé since he has celiac. They gave us adequate time alone to embrace the beautiful sea and sky all while being so warm and welcoming. Stacey, George, and Travis are very personable, and they were vital in making this making this experience unforgettable for us. Our experience could not have been any better. Thank you Gadaboat!

The entire experience itself was perfect from start to finish. Travis and George accommodated us from the get go when I wanted to take a quick shower on board (we had done a morning activity with a different vendor nearby). We felt right at home and were seated on the "love seats" on the front of the boat. Travis was amazing giving us local knowledge and making sure we always had a full glass of their delicious homemade rum punch. Sitting up front and just watching the ocean and sails was so relaxing!
We anchored after about 45 minutes and were able to swim and float around on noodles and snorkel. George, the captain, was so sweet and chatted with us but also gave us some privacy when Travis brought out our tray of appetizers and OMG they were sooooo good.
Overall, it will be hard to top this anniversary surprise. It was relaxing, fun and romantic. I also love that this is a local family run business.

Stacey was an amazing host and the drinks kept flowing, including her delicious rum punch. I have attempted to replicate (without success) her scrumptious homemade salsa. Homemade rotis cooked by Travis’s mum were the perfect lunch. As a mum of two children aged 11 and 9 I was a little worried they might be bored - but they declared it “the best day ever”!! George is a fantastic captain who entertained us with stories all day, and Travis an excellent first mate who looked after our every need. Stacey is a gracious host and served delicious snacks as well as an authentic Caribbean lunch of roti prepared by Travis's mother. We had just the right blend of privacy and conversation with the crew. We learned a tremendous amount about the island of Antigua. I highly recommend a sailing trip aboard Gadaboat and we plan to book another trip next year when we return!
